Russ Matthews
Russ is responsible for growth initiatives, including partnerships and acquisitions with other advisors. He also serves as Business Development Advisor at Branzan Investment Advisors, a private fund advisory firm that he joined in 2025. He has direct experience as an investor and operating partner as a founding member of SCB Global Capital, a private investment partnership based in Denver that focuses on investment in lower middle-market companies. Before moving to Denver in 2015, Russ was based in Los Angeles where he had senior roles with Central Park Group and First Western Financial. Responsibilities included providing access to complex alternative investment solutions, leading the acquisition of multiple investment advisory businesses, and directing the growth strategy for a $1.5B investment manager. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University.
